EEHA Training Course in Installation, Maintenance and Inspection
Extend Training’s course in EEHA Installation, Maintenance and Inspection is competency based training for electrical and instrumentation workers, and engineers. The program is designed for electrical workers employed in hazardous area facilities. It is an introductory program for electrical engineers. The EEHA course delivers a set of 17 nationally recognised competencies, covering the majority of tasks typically undertaken when working on explosion-protected equipment in the field. Rest assured that all training and assessment in their EEHA training courses are aligned to the requirements of the relevant AS/NZS Standards: AS/NZS 60079.14 and AS/NZS 60079.17. Students taking this EEHA training will require access to these standards during the course, and may be purchased from Extend Training.
EEHA Training Prerequisite Information
To be eligible for the award of a Statement of Attainment for all units in the EEHA Installation, Maintenance and Inspection program (after successfully completing the assessment in the course), you must hold either a current Australian electrical work licence (unrestricted), or an instrumentation trade certificate (equivalent to Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control). If you complete the EEHA training in Installation, Maintenance and Inspection and have a Bachelor of Engineering in an electrical discipline from an Australian university, or a university in a country that is a signatory to the Dublin or Washington Accords, you’re eligible for award of a Statement of Attainment for UEENEEM080A, UEENEEM042A, UEENEEM044A, UEENEEM045A and UEENEEM046A units only.
