Who is this course for:
This course is our “engineering level” course, intended for electrical and instrumentation designers working in hazardous area industries. It focusses on equipment selection and installation design and documentation, including intrinsically safe system verification and maximum power dissipation calculations for increased safety installations.
Entry Requirements:
Candidates for this course must be able to demonstrate existing electrical or instrumentation design competency. This is best done by providing a CV and examples of design documents (e.g electrical drawings, schedules, specifications etc.) that the candidate has produced. An electrical engineering degree or diploma is desirable, but not essential.
Duration and delivery:
The course is 5-days duration. You can attend one of our public programs, or we can run a program on site for 6 or more people.
The course is also available online, via a combination of instructor led and self-paced sessions. Click here for more details.
